Terms of Service

Effective date: October 2, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Quest Deeds ("we", "us") for using questdeeds.com and app.questdeeds.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Quest Deeds helps people run and play organized tabletop roleplaying games: posting tables, signing up, waitlists, leagues and leaderboards, player logs, character cards and campaign tools. It is not a virtual tabletop and not a publisher of games.

The Service is in a pilot. It is free during the pilot, including features we may charge for later. Features may change. We will tell you before anything you use starts to cost money.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian. Keep your email and Discord account secure: whoever controls them can sign in as you. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person, one account.

3. Players, DMs and organizers

Organizers and DMs who run tables or leagues are responsible for their events, their rules, their codes of conduct and their dealings with players. League rules in the Service (levels, rewards, allowed content) are settings chosen by the organizer. Quest Deeds provides the tools and is not a party to those events.

Logs. An entry marked "Verified" means the DM of that game confirmed it in Quest Deeds. An entry marked "Self-reported" was logged by the player, including everything imported from another site; we do not check those entries. We don't guarantee that any log, level or reward recorded in the Service will be accepted by a store, a convention or an official organized play program.

Importing logs. Import only your own logs. Imported entries keep the DM names recorded in them and are shown as self-reported.

4. Your content

"Your content" is everything you add: characters, logs, notes, journals, images, game descriptions, messages.

Homebrew. Rules content you create and share by link, such as your own character classes, is your content: you are responsible for it. We do not review it before it is shared and do not endorse it. When someone with your link adds it to a character or makes their own copy, you let them use it inside the Service; a copy stays with them even if you later change or delete yours. Anyone can report shared homebrew; we may hide or remove reported content, and copies made from it, if it breaks these terms.

5. Game content and trademarks

Do not upload rulebook or adventure text, art or other material you don't have the right to share.

Names of games and organized play programs, such as Dungeons & Dragons, D&D, Adventurers League, Legends of Greyhawk, Shadowdark and Daggerheart, belong to their owners and are used here only to describe what the Service works with. Quest Deeds is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, The Arcane Library, Darrington Press or any other publisher.

This work includes material from the System Reference Document 5.2 ("SRD 5.2") by Wizards of the Coast LLC, available at https://www.dndbeyond.com/srd. 6. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, write to [email protected] with the subject "Copyright". Include:

We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers. If your content was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. A report made with an in-app "Report" button is not a formal copyright notice unless it includes everything listed above.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings, or by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect other users. Section 4 (the license for backups and records others depend on) and sections 9 to 11 continue after your account ends.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quest Deeds will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

11. Disputes

If something goes wrong, write to [email protected] first so we can try to resolve it informally.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and email you about material changes at least 14 days before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
